Management and key scientists

 

Prof. Jo Klaveness is President and CEO and founder of the company. He holds a M. Sc. (cand. real.), M. Sc. Pharm. (cand. pharm.) and Dr. Scient. in organic chemistry, was previously Vice President in Nycomed Imaging AS and is now professor at School of Pharmacy, University of Oslo. Jo Klaveness is the inventor of about 130 patents relating to several new pharmaceutical products on the market.

M. Sc. Pharm. (cand. pharm.) Aase Jorun Klaveness is Vice President. She has extensive experience with planning and conducting clinical trials, after 12 years in Nycomed Imaging AS. She has also a good background in toxicology after 6 years practice in the National Poisons Information Centre.

M. Sc. Pharm. (cand. pharm.) Bjarne Brudeli and Dr. Scient. (organic chemistry) Nils Nilsen are project leaders for our various drug synthesis programs. The latter has long experience from chemical industry, industrial pilot plant and scale up, before joining DDL as our first employee.
